Jeffery revenge game
On Sunday the Eagles travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in what will be the final matchup of wildcard weekend. Now the last time these two teams met everything was different. The Eagles flew past the Bears 31-3 as the Bears fell to 3-8 while the Eagles were on their way to a Super Bowl. Jeffery spent five years in Chicago before coming to Philly. If the Eagles are to advance to play the Saints a Jeffery revenge game is needed.
Winds of change
Now as I stated earlier Sundays matchup will be different than last years. The Bears added arguably the best defensive player in the league in Khalil Mack and he has fueled the Bears to a 12-4 record. Their best since 2010. The Bears defense is the best in the league and for good reason. However, they can be exposed. Since Nick Foles has taken over Jeffery has found his stride.
He has 16 catches for 301 yards and a touchdown. As Foles top target you know the former bear will be looking to make an impact. In last years matchup Jeffery caught five passes for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Revenge is sweet
In three of the four Bears loses this season they have allowed 30+ points. Jeffery shined in the postseason last year. He had 12 catches for 219 yards and three touchdowns. He shines in the bright lights. Now no disrespect the Bears are a great team and have a bright future. However, the birds have new life and are eager to defend their crown. While Jeffery should see a lot of all pro-Kyle Fuller I expect the former South Carolina alum to top 100 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles leave Chi-town with a win.
Jeffery has made it known how he feels about his former team.
