Five Prospects The Eagles Should Consider At 52
While the Eagles didn’t make a selection last night the team still made a move. The team traded out of the first round acquiring picks number 52, 125 and a 2019 second rounder. In exchange, the Baltimore Ravens received pick number 32 and selected their quarterback of the future in Lamar Jackson and pick 125. Derrius Guice and Courtland Sutton were both available at 32 and the Eagles decided to trade down. Howie Roseman followed up on his statements of wanting to acquire a day two pick. Here are five prospects the Eagles should consider on day two.
Texas A&M Receiver Christian Kirk
Christian Kirk has a very good chance of being available at number 52 when the Eagles come to the Podium. Kirk had a formal meeting with the Eagles and coaches when they were working with him during his pro day. Slated to be a potential first-round pick Kirk has slid into the second round. The receiver has drawn comparisons to Odell Beckham Jr due to his route running ability and speed after the Catch. He would also give the Eagles a special teams ace return man.

USC Running Back Ronald Jones
While the Eagles passed on Derrius Guice another running back could be in their sights. Jones has the playmaking ability to set the Eagles offense apart. The USC product has visited with the Eagles and is another prospect that they have shown interest in. Last year he rushed for 1,550 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Ronald Jones has as many ridiculous runs as Barkley on tape if we’re being honest. pic.twitter.com/0b9Xj7M1ui

West Virginia Safety Kyzir White
The Eagles remain in need of safety help heading into day two. Justin Reid is also another name that should interest the Eagles but I believe White has the better chance of being available. White has a prototypical NFL frame and would bring physicality to the Eagles secondary. The West Virginia product has the versatility to be a hybrid linebacker/safety in certain packages and is stout against the run.

South Carolina State Linebacker Darius Leonard
Mychal Kendricks survived day one of the draft and remains with the Eagles. However, it has been no secret that he has constantly been the center of trade rumors. The Eagles only have one day two pick as of now and if they want to acquire more Kendricks could be dealt. In that case, Darius Leonard could be his replacement. Leonard visited with the Eagles and would provide the team with depth at the position. He’s drawn comparisons to Wesley Woodyard and flies from sideline to sideline making plays.
LSU Cornerback Donte Jackson
While the Eagles passed on one LSU star they could land another with Donte Jackson. The Eagles remain in need of a slot cornerback and Jackson could fill that need immediately. He visited with the Eagles in March. At the combine, the LSU corner ran a blazing 4.32 forty time. Furthermore, In three seasons in Death Valley, he recorded 101 tackles, one sack, and four interceptions.
I believe LSU is playing Wizard 4 here, which means the corners are locked in man the rest of defense is playing quarters. Donte makes the play here on the outside, almost a pick 6. pic.twitter.com/GiG2lwVtJ4
