NFL Mock Draft

  • First edition Eagles mock draft The 2019 NFL draft is next month from April 25th-27th live from Nashville Tennessee. The Eagles will have eight picks. As a result of the teams, late playoff run the Birds will pick 25th overall. Now there are several options that the Eagles can choose from here. Spoiler alert I don’t have the Eagles selecting a cornerback in the first round. So without further ado, let’s get going with this Eagles mock draft. Round 1 Pick 25: Dexter Lawrence The Eagles chose not to pick up Tim Jernigan’s 11 million dollar option and he will become a free agent. Now, this draft is loaded along the defensive line. With their first pick, the Birds go with the 6’4 350-pound defensive tackle to replace Jernigan. Lawrence finished his career with 162 tackles 20 for a loss and 11 sacks. Despite suffering an injury at the combine Lawrence is okay and would be the new big man in town. He comes in as a depth addition behind Fletcher Cox and Malik Jackson. Round 2 pick 53: David Montgomery After addressing the defensive side of the ball in round one here in round two the Eagles go offense and select Iowa States David Montgomery. Montgomery was a force for the Cyclones helping them to an 8-5 record. He finished last season with 1,216 yards and 13 touchdowns. Montgomery also has met with the Eagles at the NFL Combine. While there is talk of the Eagles getting Le’Veon Bell or Tevin Coleman I believe if they miss out on the former Steelers running back it is a position they must address early. If the Eagles acquire either Duke Johnson or Coleman, Montgomery would provide a nice change of pace back with some power. Hence he can be the starting...
  • Eagles Mock Draft Draft week is finally upon us as the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles head into Dallas with a lot of rumors currently circling the team. General Manager Howie Roseman has been adamant about adding more picks. Currently, the Eagles only have six draft picks and none are in the second or third round. In addition, talks have suggested that the team could potentially trade out of the first round to acquire more picks. Earlier in the week, it was mentioned that Sony Michel could also be on the Eagles radar in the first round. In this mock draft, the selections are made with the current picks the Eagles have and does not involve any trades. Without further ado, the Eagles are on the Clock with the 32nd pick in our PSN mock draft. Round 1 Pick 32; LSU Star Derrius Guice It’s no secret that the Eagles have been enticed by Guice. The Eagles held a formal meeting with the 20-year-old back at the NFL combine along with flying down to LSU to work him out. The team also hosted him on a pre-draft visit and have had a first-round grade on him. Guice becomes the first Eagles running back selected in the first round since 1986. By selecting the LSU running back, the Eagles would add a powerful runner between the tackles as well as a guy who can break off home run plays. Jay Ajayi is entering a contract year and it appears likely he is a Free agent next season. Furthermore, this allows Guice to step in and take on a featured role and be the workhorse the Eagles have wanted in the backfield. • Eagles The 2018 TSJ NFL Mock Draft Is Here With just over a month until the NFL draft, the NFL offseason is indeed in full swing. As of right now the Philadelphia Eagles currently possess six draft picks in the upcoming draft. I’m sure General Manager Howie Roseman will look to add to that. With the first week of free agency over the Eagles did most of their damage through trades. The NFL Mock Draft is here and it’s one you don’t want to miss. Good teams build through the draft, and the Eagles will look to continue with that success. With that said we are unveiling our first Eagles TSJ NFL Mock Draft. Taking into account the teams recent moves these players could help contribute right away for the Super Bowl champions. Round One Pick 32: Wide Receiver Christian Kirk With the 32nd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Christian Kirk. From Texas, A&M Kirk would fill a need in the Eagles offense. With the loss of receiver Torrey Smith, the Eagles need a receiver with speed who can line up across from Alshon Jeffery. Kirk ran a 4.47 40 time at the NFL Combine and put up high production at Texas A&M. In three seasons he finished with 2,856 receiving yards 234 catches and 26 touchdowns. Also, Kirk also can provide on special teams as he finished with seven return touchdowns in his career. Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk posted a 4.47 40 today. Route running skill set in the slot.
